Since its founding in 2020, Lights Back On, Inc. has been guided by a simple belief: when people are facing difficult circumstances, knowing where to turn can make all the difference.

Our journey began with a focus on helping vulnerable individuals and families navigate challenges involving basic needs such as housing, utilities, food, and education. As we have grown and learned more about the communities we hope to serve, our understanding of how we can make the greatest impact has evolved as well.

Today, Lights Back On is evolving into a resource-navigation and information-and-referral organization focused on helping people find their way through a sometimes confusing network of community resources.

Whether someone is searching for housing assistance, food, utility assistance, healthcare, employment support, educational resources, or other community services, finding help can be difficult—especially when someone is already dealing with financial hardship, housing instability, or other challenges.

Our role is not to be every resource. Our role is to help people find the resources that may be right for them.

By sharing reliable information, highlighting available resources, and helping create connections between people and organizations, Lights Back On can help make the path forward easier to see.
